Leisuretec managing director Nick Spalding is confident that Peter’s decision to head up the sales team at Leisuretec will prove to be a great move for Owen, the company and in turn the company’s extensive customer base. "Peter always impressed me whilst at Arbiter with his willingness to go the extra mile, making sure our customers received the products they needed, when they needed them. He was also singularly responsible for encouraging Leisuretec to invest in a large stockholding of both the JBL and dbx product ranges, resulting in significant increases of turnover of both lines."
Owen has become even more aware of the drive towards providing superior customer service since joining Leisuretec, commenting: ‘‘Everybody throughout Leisuretec is dedicated to providing the whole purchase experience, from initial enquiry to resultant sale and after-sales service, and having the whole company geared in this way is both refreshing and appealing."
At the same time, Leisuretec has announced that Stephanie Lambley, formerly of Hayden Laboratories, has joined the company in a newly-created sales and marketing role. Having recently studied for a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Certificate, Lambley was keen to expand on her sales skills and develop the marketing aspect of her career. She will be involved in all aspects of marketing for Leisuretec Distribution Ltd.
"We have undertaken another year of planned growth," comments Spalding, "which in the current climate may be considered a bold or foolhardy move. However, with our ‘Pure Distribution’ policy we intend to continue to build upon our strengths whilst increasing levels of business. We are adamant growth must not be achieved at the expense of maintaining high levels of customer service - something that we pride ourselves on providing and for this to occur - the company requires first-rate personnel. Stephanie has joined us to assist us in achieving these goals."
