Both the DN-T645 and DN-T625 are still aimed at the core market of fitness, but the versatility of the machines also makes them ideal for use as integrated AV systems in boardrooms and conference suites. Both are packed with practical features. The DN-T645 CD player will play-back CDR/CDRW discs as well as pre-written CDs and has a 12% pitch control. It also offers MP3 playback, an increasingly important feature, complete with folder/file search, direct track select buttons and a rotary Track Select knob. Repeat mode and Random mode are also offered, along with a maximum program play of 99 tracks, easily accessible via the 10-key track selection pad. The DN-T645 features RS-232 control, wired remote control terminal, balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) outputs, RS-422A and a serial 9-pin D-sub control connection, plus a mic input (1/4" TRS) with AGC (auto gain control) and shock proof memory on the CD player.
The DN-T645’s cassette deck features Dolby noise reduction, a Dolby HX-Pro Headroom Extension System, and a recording Input source that is switchable between internal CD and external line input. A 2 motor mechanism with optical sensor allows Quick Reverse and the cassette deck also features a Playback Speed Control (excellent for aerobics classes, etc) of 12%, plus Memory Rewind and Auto Reverse full logic mechanism. The DN-T625 is a streamlined version of the 645.
The Cascade Function features on both models, allowing multiple units to be linked by cables for continuous playback or recording among the units. Synchronized recording is also possible - Denon DN-780R (twin cassette decks) can be linked by cables to the DN-T645 or DN-T625 to enable simultaneous recording by all DN-780R units. Up to 20 units can be connected for continuous recording of the source.
