Ostergaard joins the Danish microphone manufacturer from BB Electronics (Suzhou) Co Ltd, in China, where he held the position of general manager. He also served as CEO for Danish graphic company Glunz & Jensen A/S for more than 11 years, as well as being development manager at Danish high-end hi-fi manufacturer Bang & Olufsen.
"I am delighted to be able to use my experience to progress DPA Microphones even further as a leading manufacturer of processional high-end microphones, and I look forward to working in close cooperation with all employees," says Ostergaard.
DPA's shareholders, Dan Ingemann Jensen, Jens-Jorn Stokholm, Ole Brosted Sorensen, and Morten Stove are excited about the future direction of DPA with Ostergaard on board.
"DPA has grown to the size where we need someone with a fresh perspective combined with a lot of experience to come in at the top," says Morten Stove, who has assumed the role of marketing director. "Personally I can get back to working closely with the customers and products as well as making sure that the DPA brand gets stronger and that we expand the line with microphones that the market desires."
