Case told us: "I am happy to be a part of one of the industry's up and coming architectural lighting divisions and look forward to the challenges ahead. As a previous Martin dealer, I have first hand knowledge of Martin's product line and have been impressed with the rapid developments in the architectural range."
Martin's West Coast branch manager, Frank Montero, commented: "Bringing Mike on board is a key step in our continuing segmentation and move into the growing architectural lighting segment. Mike has been in the lighting industry for a long time and is a familiar face in both the entertainment and architectural lighting segments, which is a benefit to both us and our clients."
Martin Professional's Simi Valley office has also announced the return to the company of Martin Tanzarelli as technical service manager, following several years of independent work in the lighting industry. Tanzarelli's main responsibility includes technical service to the company's high profile client base, which includes leading TV shows and tours. His extensive experience includes four years working in Vari-Lite's Field Service Department, servicing tours including the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith.
Frank Montero said of Tanzarelli: "Martin is a real diamond in the rough and we are very happy to have him on board. Technically he is just brilliant and his extensive service experience will help to raise our level of service even further . . . He has a great, positive attitude and often makes clients feel so comfortable that they request him personally. I know our customers will be in good hands."
Originally from Argentina, Martin broke into the industry in 1992 with Light and Sound Design Inc. before working for Vari-lite Inc. He then worked at Martin Professional from 1999-2000 and assumed his new position in August 2003.
