The Franco-Tounsi festival deployed an all-Nexo sound system

Tunisia - Placed second in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with her song Voilà, French singer-songwriter Barbara Pravi performed a special concert in the magnificent gardens of the Résidence de France Dar El Kamila in the La Marsa suburb of the Tunisian capital Tunis for the Franco-Tounsi festival on 12 July.

An all-Nexo sound system was deployed by Tunis-based event production specialists Sybel and comprised main left and right hangs of six each compact STM 2 x 8-inch line array elements with LF extension from ground-stacked STM B112 and S118 subs across the front of the stage. Nexo PS15s were deployed as out-fills with P15 cabinets from Nexo’s latest P+ Series point-source loudspeaker range used for font-fills and returns.

Two days later the Sybel team was in action again, this time with a Nexo Geo M system at the 14 July National Day Celebrations hosted by French Ambassador to Tunisia Anne Guéguen at the ambassador’s residence in La Marsa.

3,000 guests enjoyed speeches and music delivered by main left and right hangs of 6 x NEXO Geo M6 with 2 x LS18 subs, with 2 x Geo M10 front-fills, Geo M10/MSUB 15 out-fills and PS15 returns.

Amplification and processing for both events came from Nexo’s NXAMPMk2 powered TD Controllers.
