The Energy Cube can cut generator dependence substantially
UK - Remote energy supplier, Off Grid Energy, has launched a fleet of money-saving hybrid power generation machines specifically for rental.

Off Grid Energy provides remote energy solutions for people in places where grid power is unavailable, unreliable or too expensive to connect. Traditionally, if mains power is not available, then a generator has been the only way of generating electricity.

Managing director of Off Grid Energy, Danny Jones, says, "We've produced a viable solution to generate clean, silent and cost effective energy and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Our off the shelf hybrid power system - E-Cube mini - is self-contained and particularly useful for commercial applications. Used on its own or coupled to a generating set the system can be easily deployed and transported to wherever it is needed."

With diesel costs so high, many in the building or events industries are seeking alternative options to traditional generators. The Energy Cube can cut generator dependence substantially with the obvious benefits in terms of fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and running hours. It can also incorporate renewable forms of energy to provide even greater savings - something that is not possible with a diesel generator.

E-Cube mini is able to make use of energy generated by both renewable and conventional means. A diesel generator is used as a power source when the integral battery bank requires charging or energy demand is at a high level. Under these conditions, the partner generator is called up automatically. When power demand is modest, the inverters deliver power that has been stored in the batteries.

To date, Off Grid Energy has supplied machines directly to large corporate customers but the move to a hire option is expected to open up the market to smaller contractors.

Jones continues, "We're responding to customer demand - we have been asked to provide a solution that doesn't require capital investment. We're looking to establish new relationships with people that want to work with us."
