Philips is also set to launch the StagePainter family of LED stage lighting solutions at LDI. The StagePainter range provides "superior control over colour consistentency and brightness, creating drama and spectacle with simplicity and ease". The Philips StagePainter D60 1000 system enables lighting designers to 'paint' the scene they want with rich, bright and powerful LED illumination. This enables them to recreate the same scene flawlessly, fixture after fixture, night after night, thanks to the high colour consistency.
The StagePainter solution provides a viable, energy-efficient alternative to traditional halogen lamps in entertainment applications, adds the company. Its white light setting delivers up to 50 lm/Watt, with even higher efficiency levels - as much as double the efficiency of halogen - for the green light setting.
