Versa Tubes in action at the O2 store in Manchester Trafford Centre.
UK - Projected Image Digital provides a one-stop solutions service for Digital Media products. Digital technology is opening up new and exciting possibilities for anyone involved in designing and creating environments and spaces.

As the UK partner of award-winning manufacturer Element Labs, PID will be demonstrating the full range and diversity of their various innovative LED display devices, all of which are being specified for architectural installations worldwide. This will include Versa Tile, Versa Tube and the new Versa Pixel. Using digital media to control the Versa range, any built environment can be transformed into a visually mesmerising space.

Versa Tube is a linear LED effect tube that can produce fabulous moving colour patterns that glow with dynamism. By using live video signal for control, Versa Tube delivers a myriad of different looks from vibrant patterns to liquid flowing motions. There's no limit to what can be displayed. LED technology ensures a vibrant range of beautiful colours, and a special diffusing lens ensures an even light output and durability. Tubes can be built into any layout with co-ordinated effects run throughout.

Versa Tiles are edge-lit LED tiles, similar to building blocks, and produce a broad spectrum of rich, saturated colours plus excellent flesh tones, browns and greys with an exceptionally smooth light output. Tiles can be placed together in any configuration. For control, each single Versa Tile represents one pixel on a computer screen - so what you see onscreen is what you get across the Versa Tiles whether it's video or still images. Content can be created using any graphics programme or adapted from widely available stock imagery. Versa Tile is currently available in two versions - for rental applications and permanent installations - either the 50cm x 50cm 25 tile or the 1 metre x 1 metre 100 tile.

Versa Pixel is the latest in the Versa range - individual LED pixels with distributed architecture giving designers and architects complete freedom over pixel shape and placement including the creation of intricate 3D arrangements PID is also the UK Dealer for digital lighting hardware including the High End DL2 Digital Lite Engine and software packages Catalyst and Pixel MAD.

The new DL2 integrates a media server loaded with digital content with a high output 3-chip light engine, a sensitive HAD sensor camera and an infrared illumination system. DL.2 can be rigged like conventional intelligent lights and is controlled via plug-and-play operation or using standard DMX protocol.

The Catalyst Pro v3.3 Media Server is the latest version of this innovative range, enabling the creation of 'virtual scenery', backgrounds and wallpaper with up to eight layers of digital media, plus the flexibility of real-time rendered visual effects.

PID will have experts on-hand at ARC 06 and a visual display of the many architectural applications for which these innovative products have been supplied, including O2 Retail stores, the Hard Rock Café, London, the new O2 HQ in Dublin and Morrison's Supermarket.
