The Netherlands - At the recent ISE Show in Amsterdam, the Dutch professional video distribution specialists Pixlvision, part of the Ampco / Flashlight Group, were appointed as distributors for Holland by two of the world's leading names in video technology - Altinex and Christie. In the case of Altinex the distributorship is exclusive. Pixlvision is headed by video industry specialists Hans Denekamp (sales manager) and Robert Kaarsmaker (account manager).

The company was appointed by Christie, the leading provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, as a distributor for the Netherlands from 1 February. It will handle the complete range of Christie's business products and solutions and provide full technical support to the Dutch marketplace.

Christie manufactures purpose-built systems for professional use. Over the last 30 years the company's systems have been widely used to support a broad range of applications, amongst them: broadcast, film and digital cinema, command and control, education, events staging, post-production, retail display, simulation and virtual reality applications. In so doing Christie has established a strong reputation for image quality and innovation.

Altinex, the leading manufacturer of Signal Management Solutions for the professional audio/video market, has appointed Pixlvision as its exclusive distributor for the Netherlands, also with effect from 1 February. The company will now handle the complete Altinex range of Signal Management Solutions products, including the modular MultiTasker, the V-Matrix flexible matrix switcher, standalone products, designer solutions and other special application products. Pixlvision will also provide full technical support to the Dutch marketplace.

Hans Denekamp comments: "The agreement between Altinex and Pixlvision provides professional presentation customers in the Netherlands with a comprehensive, one-stop source of complete audio and video solutions including switching and distribution, with full technical advice and backup."
