International sales director Ernie Armas with the new Aqua
Germany - PR Lighting enjoyed high visibility at this year’s Frankfurt Prolight+Sound Show - largely due to an inspired product showcase centred around their new Aqua waterproof moving heads. This was promoted heavily at the show via banners and large posters in heavily populated areas of the concourses and walkways.
The Aqua 440 Beam, the waterproof version of the XR440 Beam, takes advantage of the popular new high output Osram 440W discharge lamp to deliver a punchy and parallel 3.1° beam. Lining up alongside was the AQUA LED 600 Spot, which in addition to offering protection against rain and humidity, maintains “a perfect working temperature even in hot or cold conditions”.
The ability of PR Lighting’s new IP44-rated enclosures to protect against splash water was demonstrated at their Frankfurt booth, where they continued to function in the midst of a fountain/water feature.
“This was an extremely popular item and we picked up orders for Aqua at the show,” confirmed international sales director, Ernie Armas.
The Chinese manufacturer also previewed some other new items in Europe for the first time. These included: Phantom (440 BWS II), XLED 6007, Blinder 360 and Butterfly.
PR Lighting were exhibiting alongside their German distributor, Focon Showtechnic. Stated product manager, Martin Hentschel, “PR Lighting’s Aqua Series marks a leap forward in technology - allowing you to take your imagination to practically anywhere with an IP rating. Both the Aqua 440 Beam and Aqua 600 Spot feature a robust design that will keep the elements like water and dust at bay.”
