JHS takes on responsibility for driving sales and promotion of the recently launched VQ Live range from 1 September.
"Since introducing VQ Live to the market earlier last year, Tannoy has, for the first time perhaps, a dedicated high-performance PA solution specifically aimed at live sound applications and we've been extremely encouraged and enthused by the early feedback," says Miguel Hadelich, TCGI's VP international sales (touring). "It's clear that there's real potential with this system, particularly in the small and medium scale live music and corporate AV sectors, sectors where the benefits of VQ Live offer real advantage to hire companies."
TCGI UK sales manager (touring), Simeon Ludwell adds, "JHS's impressive track record in the live sound market and their long standing reputation for professionalism and commitment to ongoing customer support across the entire UK market, make this new partnership an exciting prospect, and a logical next step in the market evolution of the range. We look forward to working with them in realising the full potential of VQ Live and delivering it to the UK and ROI market."
JHS MD Dennis Drumm comments, "We are delighted to continue to expand our relationship with TCGI, and bring Tannoy VQ Live to the wider pro audio and specialist reseller market. VQ Live perfectly complements our existing pro audio range, and enables us to offer an even wider range of solutions."
TCGI will continue to manage direct relationships with a small number of key accounts in the UK, while JHS' Pro Audio Division will begin handling all other VQ Live business from 1 September.
The VQ LIVE system will be on show on Tannoy's stand (1-B10) at the forthcoming PLASA show at Earl's Court. JHS Pro Audio will also be exhibiting at PLASA 2010, where Neville Raine & Stuart McKay will be on hand to take enquiries.
