Pearce Hire invites clients and PLASA visitors to join them at the Production Bar for a drink, and to learn more about their latest investments. This year alone, Pearce Hire has expanded its inventory by investing over £500,000 in new hire equipment.
It will be the first time Pearce Hire has had a PLASA presence, and the Production Bar is seen as a great networking opportunity, right in the heart of the exhibition. The bar is jointly sponsored with other world-renowned companies.
With such a full order book at the start of the season, Pearce Hire has invested heavily to cope with the demand of many new and existing events, including shows for such clients as the Forestry Commission, Cambridge City Council, Media 10, Warner's Exhibitions, Mama Bars, Tribeca Film Festival, plus many more. Additionally, the dry hire side of the business is busier than ever.
On the Lighting side, new equipment includes Chamsys MagicQ Pro100 consoles, in addition to more MAC 700s, I-Pix BB4 washlights, drapes, rigging and motor controllers.
For the Audio department, a complete L'Acoustics Kara Line Array speaker system with SB18s and LA8 amplifiers has been added to the inventory, alongside another Yamaha M7CL digital mixing console and Lab Gruppen PLM10000Q amplifiers which have been used to upgrade all amplifier stock.
The Power department has benefited too, with new distribution, cabling, a plethora of low energy site lighting and energy saving lighting control systems as part of a 'Greener' power policy.
Shaun Pearce, managing director of Pearce Hire, said: "We are looking forward to a busy exhibition, with a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones at the Production Bar. We are already investing in equipment for the 2012 season, so it will be a chance for people to see the latest additions to our kit list, discuss their requirements and meet our team members."
