Just one event-packed year since Avolites Media was launched at PLASA 2011, the company will preview the much-anticipated Sapphire Media video control console.
Steve Warren, managing director of Avolites Media reports, "The last 12 months have seen our Ai Infinity Media Server deliver some of the richest and most electrifying visual feasts for some of the most stunning, internationally televised events and live performance shows on earth. Just a year into our new venture we are thrilled to be able to bring so much good news about the Ai Infinity to this year's PLASA and to introduce our second exciting media control product, the Sapphire Media, to the show floor."
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Sapphire Media Console offers video operators and designers an intuitive, hands on, live show control surface that facilitates a seamless blend of visual elements, says the company.
The Sapphire Media control surface connects directly to Avolites Media's flagship product, the Ai Media server, the highlight of which are two generous wide screen touch surfaces for easy access to the User Interface and Salvation Engine control. Four switchable and assignable touch preview monitors are also available to the system operator and can be mapped to any inputs, outputs or video layers.
Further to this, the Sapphire Media offers 15 motorised faders for live control, mappable to content triggers, effects or parameters, a smooth T-Bar for traditional vision mixing, and direct access buttons, pre-assigned to popular features and functions. All controls are user configurable, delivering fully customised functionality.
Show visitors can get up close and personal with the next forward-looking steps in Media Server technology - the Avolites Media's Ai Infinity, headlining eight Full HD outputs, each of which conveniently features an accompanying preview output.
The feature-loaded Ai Infinity features internal EDID management, LTC and MIDI Time-code, Genloc Input, Multi-Server Frame-sync and Master- Slave remote control.
