UK - PLASA Show organiser PLASA Events has outlined the pro audio highlights awaiting visitors to the show this year, taking place at The ExCeL exhibition centre in London's Docklands on 4-6 October.

"We are seeing a definite shift from audio manufacturers and distributors towards PLASA as a viable event to launch a variety of new products, with the PLASA Awards for Innovation being a great place to showcase new technology," says Christopher Toulmin, Director of PLASA Events. "This year we have over 50 leading brands joining us from the pro audio sector with many new names joining that list."

Pro audio products and features at this year's show include:

A.C. Entertainment, AC-ET's Audio division, will provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest cutting-edge digital mixing consoles from a wide portfolio of leading brands, with exclusive demonstrations of selected models from the Touring, Fusion, and Live ranges of Dynamic Audio Device (DAD). d&b Audiotechnik will debut its V-Series point source loudspeakers at this year's PLASA. Launched earlier this month the V7P, V10P and V-GSUB will be on the d&b stand alongside other touring and installation products. (Stand J50)

Adam Hockley and Steve Jones of d&b GB Education and Application Support also contribute to the line up of Pro Audio seminars taking place at the show.

FBT UK will be showing a full range of products from both FBT and its newly acquired JTS microphone range. PA products from FBT include a complete line up from the portable sound and install and touring catalogues, as well as unveiling the brand new JTS UF-20R dual channel wide band UHF professional wireless system. Flare Audio launches Zero, which they bill as "The Ultimate in Audio Clarity". Lauded by -among others - legendary music producer and founding member of Art of Noise, Gary Langan, the systems is aimed at discerning studios, musicians and audiophiles, allowing both upmarket consumers and professionals hear the recording the artist intended you to hear. Standing at 1.8m in height, it delivers 3.5kw of sound. (Stand K52)

SSE Audio and Wigwam Acoustics will be among those distributors again exhibiting at PLASA 2015. They will be showcasing products from a number of their suppliers.

"This year, we have invited some of our key equipment suppliers to join us on the stand and I'm delighted to announce that Avid, d&b audiotechnik, DiGiCo and L-Acoustics have all agreed to display some of their latest products with us." commented SSE sales director, Alex Penn. In addition, microphone and wireless specialist Sennheiser will be represented on the stand. (Stand L10)
