The companies are exhibiting on Stand K40, in a prime position opposite the PLASA Show Bar. The stand is at the heart of the Audio zone in PLASA Show's new layout, a zoned arrangement designed to make it easier for visitors to navigate the show floor.
With the first units due to arrive at dealers very soon, the Yamaha Rivage PM10 large format console will be the centrepiece of the stand. Product specialists Andy Cooper and Wayne Powell will be on hand to give hands-on demonstrations to engineers keen to familiarise themselves with it, as well as on Yamaha's CL, QL and TF consoles, which will also be on display.
Other Yamaha products on show will be the company's CIS range of installation products, including loudspeakers, power amplifiers and signal processors, as well as interfaces including the R series i/o racks, the RMio64-D Dante/MADI conversion unit and the RSio64-D for conversion between Dante and Mini-YGDAI formats.
Nexo will be showing several of its industry-leading loudspeaker systems, including the STM (Scale Through Modularity) line array. Shown in ground-stacked format, any size of STM system can be configured from a combination of four small, powerful and proportionally-sized modules. Also on show will be the compact GEO M6, which can be flown, ground stacked or pole-mounted on subs to deliver uncompromised full-range sound in a wide variety of fixed and mobile applications, and the LS18 sub-bass cabinet, which brings new versatility to the company's Geo S12 line array systems and PS Series cabinets, delivering high SPL at a relatively low cost.
Line 6's presence will concentrate on its XD-V family of high quality wireless systems. Featuring the company's patented digital wireless technology, there is an XD-V system to suit every type of show, venue and budget. With models for instruments, handheld, lavalier and headworn microphones, Line 6 wireless systems are built to withstand the rigours of the road, with true 24-bit performance and are fully FCC compliant. And, as a pioneer of virtual modelling circuitry, some systems include up to 10 emulations of industry standard live sound mics, providing the ultimate in vocal versatility.
"After a year out from PLASA in 2013, we returned in 2014 with a small stand and were very pleased with the number and quality of visitors we spoke to," says Karl Christmas, sales & marketing manager at Yamaha Commercial Audio (UK & ROI). "It made sense to return this year with a larger presence and to invite Nexo and Line 6 to join us, demonstrating that Yamaha Corporation companies offer high quality, fully-integrated audio solutions for any kind of live or installation project."
PLASA Show 2015 takes place from 4-6 October at ExCeL in London's Docklands.
