UK - No matter what your plan for PLASA 2016, d&b audiotechnik will be a brand that's hard to miss. From 18-20 September, visitors to London's Olympia will have access to the latest d&b products and lots of opportunity to engage with the d&b GB team.

Newly appointed d&b sales partner SFL Group, on stand V60, will feature the d&b DS10 Audio network bridge among other points of interest from the d&b portfolio, and of course offer visitors the chance to meet the experts from their team.

d&b sales partner SSE/Wigwam, at stand J20, will be providing hands on introductions to d&b NoizCalc, the far field noise immission modelling software and the new QSC plug-in Q-SYS. NoizCalc is also up for a PLASA Award for Innovation.

d&b GB is playing key roles in a number of new attractions this year. The DS10 will be a focus of attention during the Dante Event on Tuesday 20 September from 10:00. A day of discovery and discussion around the Dante protocol.

Take a trip through The Exploratorium, an interactive mini maze of experimental spaces brought to you by SoulSound, and encounter Head Space by d&b's Bill Brooks. "Acoustic experiments have proved to be a very effective and inspirational way of educating the industry," says Brooks, "and The Exploratorium is the ideal platform to demonstrate this."

Meanwhile, d&b's Oran Burns will enrich the seminar schedule with Democracy for Listeners, the next level on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 September at 15:15. His lively session will look at how recent advancements in line array technology allow us to achieve unparalleled tonal balance and even coverage throughout the audience area. System design, tuning and optimization are all now available in one user friendly d&b Workflow. To register for this session go to http://plasashow.com/seminars2016.aspx

d&b GB is also proud to announce its official sponsorship of the 2016 Technical Theatre Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound; good luck to all the nominees!

"We're joining forces with our sales partners this year," says Gianni Abruzzese, d&b GB commercial manager, "so we're looking forward to offering the sum of our combined experience. We're also very happy to see NoizCalc in the running for an Innovation Award; its potential for the long term future of live open air events cannot be overestimated. In terms of improving transparency and communication, between audio providers and organizers, it's key to keeping our partygoers and local neighbours equally in mind."
