"PLASA Focus: Austin 2012 was the first event to be launched under the PLASA Focus banner in North America, and it proved to be very popular, with both visitors and exhibitors, which is why we have decided to return to the region this September. Over 40 companies have already signed up to exhibit, and we expect to see both previous and new visitors, all of whom want to experience and interact with the latest products without having to travel far from home" says Jackie Tien, director of media, sales & marketing at PLASA.
PLASA Focus provides visitors with a unique opportunity to check out the latest products from some of the biggest names in entertainment technology. Companies already signed up to exhibit at the show include; A.C.T Lighting, CAST Software, Chauvet Lighting, d&b audiotechnik, DiGiCo, Elation, GLP, Group One, High End Systems, Link, Mainstage Theatrical Supply, Martin Professional, Robe Lighting, TMB, TOMCAT and Wireless Solution. With many other applications currently being processed, companies interested in exhibiting are advised to move quickly to secure their spot.
Running alongside the show is the PLASA Professional Development Programme, a knockout programme of free educational sessions, featuring world-class speakers. Previous speakers include Wayne Trevisani, FOH Engineer for Jay-Z and Matt Conover, VP at Walt Disney and Parks Creative Entertainment.
Each two-day PLASA Focus show is free to attend for all registered visitors, and PLASA members, Focus series exhibitors and regional dealers all benefit from substantial discounts on exhibition space. PLASA Focus limits the amount of space that exhibitors can take and provides a unique hard wall booth package - including furniture, power, material handling, lighting and carpet - so that each exhibitor enjoys a level playing field and a simple and affordable exhibiting experience.
