Utilising the Art-Net and RDM management protocols, SuperNova 3 enables system-wide control of the entire lighting infrastructure. Alerts and monitoring can be configured for each element of the system - when a temperature is out of range, a push alert can be sent to a smartphone or sent as an email, providing essential status information never before available to production staff. The system offers full RDM control including configuration of DMX start addresses and personality, as well as advanced monitoring and status history information to provide detailed feedback.
Much of today's RDM control is centred on either the console or handheld tools for connecting to a single device. Marcus Bengtsson, Senior R&D engineer at LumenRadio explains, "What makes SuperNova 3 unique is the combination of Art-Net, RDM, and wireless technologies in a system-agnostic application. By separating the RDM control into a third party software application, which can be run on Windows, Mac or Linux, SuperNova 3 offers the ultimate in system-wide monitoring in a way which has not been seen before."
LumenRadio will also announce a number of new OEM partners such as DTS and SGM. LumenRadio will be demonstrating wireless enabled equipment with integrated CRMX OEM modules from a variety of manufacturers on stand P30. Among these manufacturers are Robe, RC4 Wireless, DTS, Philips, Ayrton, LSC, Table Art and Digital Sputnik.
