Building on the success of its Atmosphere and MAX series across numerous industry sectors, MDG's new e-series is a leap ahead, bringing increased efficiency and total electronic control to the industry's leading atmosphere generators.
The new Atmosphere ATMe and MAX M3e models each have an identical power consumption and footprint to its predecessors (the Atmosphere and MAX 3000 respectively) yet offer a significantly increased output (double that of the standard Atmosphere and approximately 50% more than the standard Max 3000 generators) which make the ATMe and the M3e the most efficient yet.
The new models demonstrate enhanced control via in-built RDM/DMX which allows precise remote control over the flow of the output. The control enables the operator to change the flow from a fine haze to a rolling fog from the comfort and convenience of the control desk.
"The Atmosphere has been the flagship standard model in the entertainment industry for over 17 years, while the MAX Series has been the same since day one, when it was introduced 33 years ago, in both the entertainment and industrial markets," says MDG sales director, Thierry Pouliot. "The e-series will take these stalwarts into the future. RDM is set to become the next industry-wide standard protocol and we are ensuring the new MDG range is future-proof by making it RDM-compatible. With the introduction of our e-series customers can start taking immediate advantage of the ease of use and feedback that RDM gives."
"The response since we showed the first models, hot from the factory, at Prolight and Sound earlier this year has been exciting to say the least," says MDG CEO, Martin Michaud. "We anticipated that the new e-series might replace the Max 5000 and Atmosphere H.O. models, and the value for money the increased output and RDM-compatible functions offer has certainly led many customers to choose the e-series. However, we are also surprised and delighted to find that demand for the standard Atmosphere model remains high."
"To date we have shown the e-series in Canada, Asia, South Africa and Australia where the reaction has been phenomenal and resulted in overwhelming demand," continues Pouliot. "Production started in August and is already running at full capacity. PLASA will be the first time the full production model will have been shown at a European tradeshow and we anticipate a similar response."
MDG will be showing the new e-series at PLASA 2013 (London ExCel, 6 - 9 October 2013) on Stand H30 alongside MDG's theONE, its fully digital, dual mode fog/haze atmospheric generator that has toured with the likes of Celine Dion, Mumford & Sons, Muse, and Kylie Minogue, and the ICE Fog Q which always steals the scene as it spreads its dense low fog across the aisles.
