Taiwanese company Acme Effects launched the iSoloution range of lighting products in association with UK partner Pro Light Concepts. With no Western backing, the company has worked hard to ensure its products are distributed worldwide.
Alongside its ranges of control options, coloured fluorescent tube specialists Anytronics were showing new additions to the outstation options for its Anylight systems, the new DP804 dimming pack and its enhanced range of T5 fluorescent fixtures.
Swedish company Beacon AB was showing its comprehensive gobo catalogue with over 350 new gobo designs. Still attracting strong interest was its Blackline range of gobos launched at PLASA 2003.

CLS offered the Light Case - a light show in a briefcase. Two four-lamp bars of MR16-size mini Pars house GU10 230V bulbs, with all dimming in the half-inch square bar.
Italian lighting manufacturer DTS Illuminazione from Rimini highlighted its latest moving head projector for 35mm slides, and its XM1200 Spot moving head. Also new was the 'Supernova' range of external fixtures with audio input.
Lighting effects company Eurotech UK reported a lot of interest in the Strobe 250 colour and its new moving head lasers. Daslight's Virtual Controller software was also proving popular.
Goboland was enjoying a busy show displaying its gobos with exchangeable colours and its new range which cuts down on reflection by decreasing the halo effect: a product that is proving popular.
Pride of place on the Hacousto International stand went to the new Messenger Mark II, steerable column loudspeakers, featuring moveable acoustic directivity controlled completely in software.
It was a first time at PLASA for laser specialist HB Laser Komponenten. The company's air-cooled digital lasers were showing off the merits of the company's Utopia software - creating laser display artwork to good effect.
LED lighting solutions specialists i-Vision launched its new LumosRange of LED fixtures at PLASA, a system of Luxeon 1W LED's with numerous commercial lighting applications.
Another company obviously enjoying its first PLASA was Just Lamps, whose Fiona Johnstone said: "There's been a lot of interest. It's going bloody well."
Kling & Freitag, with UK distributor VME, displayed its Line 212-SP, with integrated active electronics and the new SW 215E and SW215E-SP subwoofers, now in full production. VME also promoted its new events department run by VME events director Jane Fernihough.
UK debuts for a number of products took place on the stand of audio manufacturer K.M.E. These included the SNA2000 amplifier, the DPM26, two in, six out signal
