Additionally, Paper-Tak– a paper-based alternative to generic PVC tape will make its debut. Visitors will also be able to see a selection of Le Mark’s best-selling tapes, labels, flooring and crew wear, with a knowledgeable team on hand to answer any queries.
Speaking ahead of the show, Stuart Gibbons OBE, managing director, Le Mark Group said: “We’re delighted to be returning to the show again this year and we’re really excited to see what people think of the new products we will have on the stand. The Dirty Rigger backpack has been built around industry feedback. It’s comfortable to wear and incorporates a tough, waterproof ‘hard case’ base plus a water-resistant fabric. We really rate this backpack as a product that will safely hold both tools and a laptop.
“Meanwhile, the Dirty Rigger ladies’ work trousers will be modelled by a mannequin on the stand. Featuring a new, durable, four-way stretch fabric, the trousers offer extreme flexibility, durability and comfort.”
With an industry drive to become more sustainable and circular, Le Mark Group is proud to be launching Paper-Tak. Stuart explained: “Our customers are keen to reduce their use of plastics whenever possible. To help them achieve this, we’ve produced Paper-Tak - a tough paper-based tape that can replace traditional PVC tape for a whole host of non-electrical applications. General tasks like colour coding, cable coiling and temporarily securing cables to truss can now be done with a PVC-free, paper-based tape. Furthermore, Paper-Tak is made using 70% recycled paper and has a fully recyclable inner core.”
Paper-Tak comes in a range of colours, standard industry widths and lengths. “We’ll have samples available at PLASA, and we’re looking forward to getting more feedback from the visitors to our stand,” added Stuart.
Stuart concluded: “It’s great to be back at PLASA again this year. We exhibited in 2021 when the industry was just beginning to wake from the pandemic and the excitement and camaraderie shared by everyone, really highlights how important a show PLASA is in the trade show calendar. We can’t wait to meet new faces and catch up with some old ones too.”
