With a self-weight of only 95kg and only 1.7m tall , this unit will be easy to store and transport making it invaluable for smaller PA companies and touring productions, says the company. Fitted with VMBs' ALS auto-locking system, the lift, along with all of the VMB lifting products, is designed and built to VGB-C1 standard.
Also being launched is the Rainbow software package, an acoustical prediction tool. Based on polar response measurements of each cabinet (Line Array and conventional installation models), taken meticulously at 5º intervals and with 360º cabinet coverage both vertically and horizontally the Rainbow software is able to calculate the SPL response of one or more cabinets including the interaction between them, taking in to account the magnitude and phase response of each one, enabling the user to correct or even create cancellation if the design so requires.
Rainbow's aim is to help installers/users and it is even able to import WMF Vector files with technical drawings directly in to the prediction plan thus enabling real measurement predictions. This also helps determine dead zones and obtain the maximum performance from each of the cabinets installed.
These products, along with a selection of VGB-C1 rated wind-up stands from the VMB range will be on display on the MilTec (UK) stand.
