The DS-8000 is an 8 input, 32 output self-contained audio distribution system with an auto switching power-supply, while the new MC2 S Series studio amplifiers - the S Series - are designed for use in the most demanding studio monitoring environments.
Also on show at PLASA Focus: Leeds will be the Blue Sky 5.1 Monitor Speakers, Aviom Digital Snakes, ASL Digital Intercom and a range of beyerdynamic headphones and headsets, all optimised for use in a broadcast environment. These will include the DT 100 and 200 broadcast headset range for on-air news and sports commentaries together with the DT 297 headset, offering excellent isolation from ambient noise, a single detachable cable and pivoting gooseneck microphone, says the company.
For control and monitoring applications, beyerdynamic's DT 1350 provides a combination of "highly efficient ambient noise reduction and an impressive maximum sound pressure level (129 dB) make them an ideal, compact, over-ear headphone."
