AED Rent opted for a total of four Innovason Sy48 Evolution stand-alone packages and a custom configuration of two Sy80 consoles complete with Stage-Box and DioCore that will form one of AED Rent's signature P.A. Kits, capable of handling FOH and monitors for large scale events.
According to AED Rent CEO's Glenn Roggeman and Eddy Van Nuffel, the acquisition makes perfect sense under today's market conditions. "There is no doubt that the digital era has arrived," remarked Roggeman, "and as a service company, we have to ensure that we cater for the demand. Innovason has a wonderful product, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that in my opinion, they have developed the platform for the future. These consoles offer superlative sonic quality coupled with great ease of use, even for the uninitiated, in a reliable, no-nonsense format. It is therefore entirely to our advantage that we now have one of the most significant Innovason inventories in our territory. Business, after all, is business!"
Prévost's Walter Geerts agrees. "It is always gratifying to see a customer who believes in the product from a technical point of view, but it must be noted that Glenn and Eddy are both extremely commercially astute and they have a very sharp eye on the future of the business. I am sure that we can look forward to a mutually profitable relationship."
