Newly acquired by PreSonus, WorxAudio has been at the forefront of loudspeaker development for the US pro touring and contractor markets for over 30 years. The WorxAudio range boasts a comprehensive line-up of more than 20 loudspeaker models that feature integrated rigging hardware for streamlined installation and pack-out.
Source will be joined at PLASA by WorxAudio's Hugh Sarvis, who will be showcasing for the first time in Europe a selection of the company's compact line array and subwoofer products - including the V5, X2, X115 and TL118 models.
Also new for PLASA is the PreSonus RM-series of rack mount digital mixers, which offer complete recallable touch control. Based on the proven StudioLive AI-series mix engine and controlled with battle-ready UC Surface software for Mac, Windows and iOS, the RM-series mixers are available in 16 and 32 channel versions and are scalable, compact and 100% recallable.
Other new PreSonus technologies that will be on display at PLASA include the optional Dante networking card for the StudioLive AI PA loudspeakers - making these speakers the first Dante-enabled active models on the market - and the new StudioLive AI mixer cascading feature, which allows two StudioLive AI digital mixers to be cascaded together to create a single powerful large format mixing system.
Completing Source Distribution's PLASA offering will be a range of live sound microphones from R°DE, multi-channel audio interfaces from Universal Audio and digital effects processors from Eventide.
Looking forward to the forthcoming show, Source's director of distributed brands Howard Jones commented, "At last year's PLASA show we had a great response to the debut of the PreSonus StudioLive AI-series PA loudspeakers, and so this year it's really exciting to showcase a further significant expansion into the live sound market by PreSonus. With increased booth space and a recently appointed commercial audio sales manager in Tim Gray, we're gearing up for a very positive and extremely busy show."
The PLASA show runs from 5-8 October at London's ExCel centre, and Source Distribution can be found on Booth B30.
