Equipment recently acquired includes Digital Projection Highlite 12000 DSX and Lightning 35 HD projectors. PRG Video also offers an extensive inventory of 10,000 lumen projectors, manufactured by Barco. The new video equipment complements PRG's extensive projection technology resources.
"PRG has pioneered projection and video technology through multiple generations and applications - from the spectacular PANI and PIGI large format projectors to the fully-integrated video solutions based on our proprietary M-Box Extreme media server," says Jere Harris, chairman and founder of PRG. "This most recent investment once again gives us unparalleled capability to help designers realize their most creative visions."
In recent months, PRG has provided video staging solutions for Jack Morton Worldwide, Innovision, Turner Broadcasting Systems and Multi Image Group. "We provide full-service - from applications consulting and equipment specification through installation and operation," says Art Lavis, sales and operations manager for PRG Video. "And our crews are among the most experienced in the industry."
"We selected Digital Projection because of its reputation for high quality products and excellent service and support," says Anne Johnston, PRG's vice-president of marketing. "We've seen an increase in demand for Hi-Def projectors, so the 35 HD was a natural choice. We are also providing more projection systems for Broadway shows, where compact, quiet projectors like the Highlite 12ks are a requirement."
