UK - Proel (International) has unveiled a range of signal processors that comprises of six models: the Digicurve - a dual channel graphic/parametric equaliser with remote control software; the Dualcomp - a dual channel dual band compressor/limiter with remote control; the Exaverb - a stereo digital effects processor with tap delay; the Predator - a dual channel automatic and manual feedback eliminator with remote control software; the Raptor - a dual channel automatic feedback eliminator; and the Zetaverb - a stereo digital effects processor with tap delay and remote control software.

All units boast class-leading electronic and audio performance, come at affordable prices and with red casing and satin finish control knobs, says the company.

Typical of the range, the Predator feedback eliminator offers a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz +/- 0.5dB, MIDI interface : MIDI - USB - RS232, distortion (THD+N) <0.01% @ -6 dBFS (Bypass), S/N Ratio :>96 dBA (Bypass), A/D and D/A converter resolution - 20 bit. The performance of the other newcomers is of a similar level, and the range is available immediately in the UK.

Also announced is the immediate launch of the JTS in-ear monitoring system. Having made an impact on both the UK wired and wireless microphone markets with its "bomb-proof" great-sounding microphones, JTS users have been looking for an affordable in-ear system - and the new SIEM-101T/SIEM-101R "certainly doesn't disappoint", says Proel.

The system provides a full frequency response, JTS's ultra-reliable UHF PLL technology and excellent stereo separation, using advanced circuit design to assure outstanding signal-to-noise, with particular emphasis on minimising ear-fatigue. Particular work has gone into ensuring excellence in separation and balance control, so that individual performers can get exactly the monitoring signal they want to hear.

The SIEM-101 offers 961 selectable channels, which means that as many as 16 sets of SIEM-101 transmitters can work on the same stage and the system offers four groups of 16 compatible channels, which allows sound engineers to set-up a full monitoring application extremely quickly.

The complete JTS SIEM in-ear system is again available immediately, across the UK and Ireland.
