First up is the new Ethernet-DMX8 Truss MkII. This 8-port truss-mounted converter brings all the well-known features of a Luminex converter in a rugged and versatile form factor. Fitted with eight fully isolated DMX ports, and two Ethernet ports, the unit is designed as a solution for converting a high number of DMX channels, using the benefits of the powerful Luminex Ethernet-DMX engine.
Also on show will be a demo of the beta version of the upcoming 4.2.0 firmware for the Ethernet-DMX range. This beta includes the following new functionalities: Support for BlackTrax (Cast) protocol; Fade between sources for triggered control; Synced outputs.
In Hall 8, E0 Stand K37, the Luminex team will launch its latest innovation for the GigaCore range - the new GigaCore RPSU. The GigaCore RPSU is a redundant power supply unit for the GigaCore 14R and 16Xt switches. Fitted in a 19" enclosure, the unit can monitor two GigaCore switches at the same time. The unit can backup both power and Power over Ethernet.
Luminex invites visitors to "come and discover the ease of use of the only professional Ethernet switches validated by major industry players". The GigaCore switches are tailored for networked audio, and support standard protocols such as Dante, AES67, Ethersound, REAC, Q-Lan and many more.
Also on preview will be the upcoming profile manager for the GigaCore range. The profile manager will allow users to store/recall configuration, easily.
