Join in with D1 and only – at the Sennheiser stand in Hall 5.0, Stand C40
Germany - For Sennheiser, Musikmesse is all about the European launch of the evolution wireless D1 microphone series. The digital systems are totally self-configuring and have both intelligent frequency management and automatic sensitivity adjustment.

"We are really looking forward to our new location at Musikmesse," declares Ingo Angres, marketing manager of live performance and MI at Sennheiser. "The move to Hall 5 brings Sennheiser closer to the users, the music and the stage, and this is also reflected in the new stand design."

A visit to the evolution garage, a stint with the product specialists to talk shop, or a chat at the Sennheiser bar - all this is possible at the Sennheiser stand. A large "information pool" at the centre of the stand provides virtual access to all the necessary background information on the subjects of music and Sennheiser.

As well as the evolution wireless D1 systems, you can also see the evolution wireless G3, the 1.8 GHz evolution wireless systems and all the wired evolution microphones. Also on show are the MK 4 and MK 8, the 2000 series wireless systems, wireless monitoring, XS wireless, professional and DJ headphones, the Momentum and Urbanite headphones, as well as innovations from the NAB trade fair, which overlaps with Musikmesse.

One of the stand highlights is the Sennheiser stage where a total of 10 newcomer bands are expected. This is not just an opportunity for the bands to play their music to an international trade fair audience, they will also have their sound mixed by experienced sound engineer Horst Hartmann, and will surely be able to pick up one or two good sound tips.

There will be tour insights and tips galore on the Sennheiser stage when Horst Hartmann speaks about microphoning and monitoring on the Pink tour.

"What's more, we have a special surprise for anyone wanting to take part in the 'D1 and Only' contest: play on our stage, we will record your cover version of 'The One and Only' and have a videographer on hand to help you with the video," adds Ingo Angres. So the stage is set for a great occasion."
