For the plenary session, PSP designed and constructed a set that represented MS Life's logo and branding. To achieve this two 18ft wide screens were used to relay live camera, video and graphics. LED and intelligent lighting was used extensively to provide effects and colour changes throughout the presentation.
A fibre optic link was installed to relay sound and images to the exhibition area via plasmas. PSP also provided the technical support for all of exhibitor stands and for the four workshops that take place. The entire build-up, conference fulfillment and break down took four days and PSP utilized a crew of 30.
As an additional service and to ensure the smooth running of the complex speaker schedule PSP set up "speaker preparation rooms" where speakers could prepare and make any last minute changes supported by the PSP Graphics Team that were resident there.
Commenting on the successful event Chris Bray, conferences manager for the MS Society was delighted with the contribution from PSP: "The technical services support we received from PSP was faultless and as a consequence the event went without a hitch. Their professionalism and attention to detail coupled with their consideration for people affected by MS was apparent from beginning to end."
