USA -The new AcousticDesign model AD-S32T from QSC is designed for any environment requiring an unobtrusive loudspeaker capable of delivering high audio output. Ideally suited for restaurants, nightclubs, schools, and multimedia use, the weather-resistant device joins the AcousticDesign Series as the product group's latest, and most compact surface mount loudspeaker, says the company.

Vital to the AD-S32T's high-output, two-way design is a 3-inch low frequency driver outfitted with a polypropylene cone, and a 0.75-inch titanium dome tweeter. Magnetically shielded for use around sensitive video equipment or computers, the enclosure has a power rating of 30W (continuous), 85 dB sensitivity, and extended low frequency range of operation down to 73 Hz.

For use within 70V/100V distributed audio systems, a transformer tap switch selects up to four settings from 30W down to 3.8W. The same switch can also be set to bypass the transformer completely when 8-ohm use is desired, adding greatly to the device's flexibility.

Offered finished in either black or white, the AD-S32T can be painted to match any decor. A ball mount and a yoke mount are included. The speaker additionally carries a Mil-Spec rating for its resistance to salt humidity, dust, and temperature, and an Ingress Protection (IP) rating based upon its ability to withstand light sprays of water.
