Radio Active Designs hosts RF sessions

Taking place at 11am on stand 6161, the event will be presented by the company CTO James Stoffo.
He comments: “As the TV repack and T-Mobile activation begins to wrap up, wireless microphone and intercom operators across the country are finding it particularly challenging to get their jobs done. The radio spectrum shuffle affects all aspects of American culture including live broadcasts, sporting events, houses of worship services and arts and entertainment productions.”
Stoffo will also be presenting an hour-long seminar offered by InfoComm at 8:00am on Thursday, 13 June. This will cover wireless microphone use as well as a spectrum update and best practices.
Radio Active Designs manufacturers the UV-1G wireless analogue intercom. With bodypacks that operate in VHF and a receiver that utilises a mere sliver of UHF, the analogue UV-1G provides the reliability and ease-of-use wireless operators demand.
“We also made sure to design the beltpacks with a rebroadcast side tone to ensure that everyone on the system hears your voice - vital for life safety,” Stoffo adds. “We knew the 600 MHz auction and resulting TV repack was going to prove challenging to wireless operators across the country. Our goal was to provide an intercom system with the same reliability and ease-of-use professionals were accustomed to in a package that would operate outside of the UHF spectrum. The UV-1G is a true problem solver in these challenging times.”
