RCF played a leading role in this, the most important summer concert shows in Italy. Diego Spagnoli, tour and stage manager of Vasco Rossi, and his technicians chose to use the TT+ High Definition Touring and Theatre products for the stage monitoring of the Vasco Live 2007.
RCF's TTSM25-A stage monitors have been used mostly on the two 22m long fly bridges in the front part of the stage. In these areas, where the audience is most crowded, the monitors have played an important role, because Vasco Rossi doesn't use in-ear monitors and his fans sing along - rather loudly - to every song [the technicians measured almost 105dB]. The TTSM25-A proved to be the right choice for the tour because it provided high definition, even at the extreme volume settings used during the concerts, said RCF.
Both the TT08-A precision monitor and the TTS12-A high power subwoofer were used on stage for the monitoring of some of the musicians, especially for the keyboards. This speaker system combines recording studio sound definition with the necessary volume power for such a big stage, say RCF.
Also on the stage was the TTL33-A line array which was used as an in stack configuration, as a side-fill for the backing bands of the tour. However, during the Milan show, two clusters of TTL33-A were flown to reach the areas to the extreme sides of the stage.
