RCF's ART 712A.
Germany - At the recent ProLight & Sound in Frankfurt, RCF unveiled a raft of new products for 2008. Standing out among these is the new ART 7 Series the latest addition to its ART amplified speaker range.

The ART catalogue has been expanded with the 7 Series, representing "a series of speakers that combine the results of a major functional and acoustic study with a new design".

The new ART has a cabinet specifically designed for use by musicians in live performances. Its structure is designed to dampen vibrations and the reflex tubes have been resized for improved efficiency. The handles are in fully rubber-coated aluminium for a more ergonomic grip.

All the loudspeaker models are equipped with a new generation of powerful, cutting-edge 750W digital amplifiers - 250 for the compression driver and 500 for the woofer. Each amplifier presents both XLR/jack (Combo) balanced inputs, XLR output link, volume and a switchable EQ Mode (Flat/Boost). The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminium structure that stabilizes it during transportation and also assists in heat dissipation.

All loudspeaker transducers are equipped with a neodymium motor, which ensures better performance and a decidedly lower overall weight, offering easier transport and improved safety in the case of hanging speakers, says the company.

The models available include: ART 710-A, ART 712-A and 715-A, ART 722-A and 725-A; the range is completed with the ART 902-AS and 905-AS, 1000 Watt subwoofers which are both equipped with new high power 12" and 15" woofer designs.
