“The First Broughshane Presbyterian has recently undergone a significant renovation and, as a beautiful, listed building, the traditional aesthetic in the church and halls has been meticulously preserved,” reports Rea sound director Roger McMullan.
“Building on our long-standing relationship with the church, we were privileged to collaborate with their exceptional team to deliver an impeccable AV solution.”
Alongside a sophisticated yet easy-to-operate visual installation including a projector, screens and LED signage, the company designed an equally versatile audio system with a digital mixing console and a range of control panels for source selection and volume control throughout the building.
“For this comprehensive audio upgrade, we used top-tier Nexo equipment,” continues McMullan. “In the main hall, we installed Nexo P12 speakers, renowned for their power and clarity, complemented by the ultra-compact ID14I speakers. This large space required substantial coverage, and the combination of these speakers ensures exceptional sound distribution throughout the hall.
“For the minor hall, we chose an array of the compact yet powerful ID14I speakers. Both halls' systems are powered by two Nexo four-channel control amplifiers, providing robust and reliable amplification.
“The careful selection and installation of this Nexo gear has resulted in superior sound quality, meeting the church's needs perfectly. The congregation and AV team are extremely satisfied with the clear, rich audio that enhances their services and events, creating an inviting atmosphere.”
