Based on the legendary audio performance of the Neumann TLM 103 and featuring the new K127 capsule - a modified K103 - the TLM 127 brings the quality and flexibility of fully featured Neumann studio condenser microphones into the mid-price market for the first time, say the company. The TLM 127 has a frequency range of 20Hz - 20kHz, low self noise (7 dB(A)), and a maximum SPL of 140dB. The mic features a 14dB pad and 150Hz high pass filter and is ideal for high quality recording applications including lead vocal, solo instrument, orchestral, ensemble and percussion miking, say Neumann.
The flexibility of the TLM 127 extends across switchable omni-directional and cardioid polar patterns, with a remote switching option providing three more additional patterns. With the addition of the specially designed power supply, outputting stable 48V phantom power, full remote control of omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-8 polar patterns is possible, eliminating the difficulties of rehearsing and selecting the desired pick-up pattern on a carefully positioned or flown microphone.
The TLM 127 is supplied in a robust wooden box and comes equipped with a high quality elastic suspension mount.
