Ryan Burr, technical sales manager at Sennheiser Middle East stated that this broadcast- specific event followed the success of the Business Communications Day which Sennheiser held in September. "By focusing on a particular market vertical, we are able to address specific customer requirements which make these events very beneficial for attendees. In addition to product demonstrations, we deliver presentations that inform them about the latest trends in the industry," he said.
Ryan was joined by John McGregor, business development manager and Salam Askar, area sales manager UAE & KSA of Sennheiser's regional team as well as members of UBMS. The event featured presentations and hands-on demonstrations of a number of Sennheiser broadcast solution among which were the AVX wireless microphone system, the flagship Digital 9000 system and the Esfera 5.1 microphone system. "We wanted to highlight solutions which touched upon every aspect of the broadcast process, thus giving attendees a comprehensive overview of the value we are capable of delivering at every stage," said Ryan.
Commenting on the benefits of attending the event, Leo Tucker-Brown, engineering supervisor at CNN said, "Such workshops provide us with a lot more information than is available on a webpage or brochure. It was also a good opportunity to get together with like-minded industry professionals to see and hear the latest. This gave us a chance to discuss ideas and examine the future of sound recording and audio engineering."
Peter Kyriakos, head of marketing at UBMS added, "UBMS has always been committed to educating the industry on how to use the latest technologies in an efficient and effective manner and this Sennheiser workshop is testament to that fact. We pride ourselves in the notion that we are not just selling the latest equipment and solutions, but we are also providing our valued clients with an avenue in which they can increase their skill set and confidence."
