Dubai - Sennheiser UK is exhibiting for the first time at the PALME show from 24-26 April in Dubai and has taken a substantial stand. Located on Stand C111 in the Install area it will provide complete system solutions and the latest in new technology and innovation on show from Sennheiser, Neumann, Rane, D.A.S., Lab.gruppen, NetCIRA, APart and Rycote.

One of the key exhibits on the Sennheiser stand is the MKH series RF condenser microphones, the benchmark for many sound recordists and broadcasters. Designed for uncompromising professional use, Sennheiser's e900 series offers a choice for a wide range of vocal and instrument applications.

The e800 and e600 series is a complete range with vocal and instrument mics for bands, soloists, and presenters. Sennheiser's latest evolution G2 wireless systems, winner of the 2004 MIA Live Microphone Award, offer an advanced level of features and there are models for many applications including vocals, instruments, presentations, camerawork and wireless monitoring.

For the conference sector, Sennheiser will be displaying and demonstrating the latest SDC 8000 digital conference system, the flexibility of which makes it ideal in smaller systems in company boardrooms through to large systems for major conference venues.

The Sennheiser guidePORT system audio tour-guide allows visitors to choose their own route and timing through a venue, exhibition or attraction. The system takes care of downloading and playback of recorded material as visitors moved between the pre-determined zones that trigger these events. Information can include recorded explanations, live commentary, lip-sync film soundtracks or other 'real-time' sound events. guidePORT can also be programmed for multiple commentary, for example for different languages or levels of interest.

There will be a selection from the Neumann range of products including the new BCM 104 broadcast condenser microphone, designed specifically for radio stations. Platinum sponsors or the Palme DJ of the Year 2005 competition, Rane is highlighting its new Serato Scratch Live, which bridges the analogue world of vinyl and the digital world of computer audio files. Also from Rane is a complete range of digital live sound tools, each product offering the user familiar 'analogue-type control', but with full digital processing behind the interface.

A selection of loudspeakers from D.A.S. will be displayed, including the DS passive and active series, especially appropriate in clubs, discos, gymnasiums, general PA, or any application that requires sound reinforcement in a lightweight, compact enclosure. The Lab.gruppen exhibit will feature the latest range of fP and iP amplifiers for touring and installation applications in two and four channel products.

From NetCIRA is a range of network audio products that utilizes EtherSound technology to distribute 64 channels of high-quality audio over standard Ethernet switches and CAT5 cabling, ideal for networking or audio distribution application. The APart display will include a range of cost-effective installation electronics and loudspeakers, providing low impedance and line level system solutions for foreground and background music and paging.

Rycote provides microphone wind-shielding and on show will be a selection of its shock-mounts, windshields and windjammers.
