The survey provides the opportunity to suggest seminar and workshop topics
UK - Ahead of the 2024 PLASA trade events, industry professionals and students are invited to shape their educational experience by sharing ideas via a short survey which closes midnight Monday 8 January 2024.
PLASA Focus Leeds and PLASA Show London - which attract 2,000+ and 6,500+ attendees respectively - are renowned for offering free education programmes that enable individuals to learn from the best in the business and gain insights into the evolution of the live event and entertainment industry.
The bi-annual education programmes are designed to provide deep dive sessions and practical experiences with experts, developing talent and generating fresh ideas. Previous content has included sessions with Ed Sheeran’s production team, this year’s Eurovision lighting designer and Stormzy’s Glastonbury sound engineer.
To ensure that PLASA’s upcoming programme content aligns with the needs and preferences of its diverse audience, the survey will collect sentiments around the existing programme and ideas for future content.
The survey provides the opportunity to suggest seminar and workshop topics; communicate preferred session styles; recommend specific speakers and vote for networking features.
Sophie Atkinson, head of events at PLASA comments: "This survey is a great chance for people in the live event and entertainment industry to play a part in shaping the educational content at the 2024 PLASA events and beyond. We believe that by actively involving our community, we can create a learning experience that is enriching, and also tailored to the needs of our industry."
People who have not previously attended any PLASA trade events, but have an interest in attending in 2024, are also encouraged to complete the survey.
The survey will take approximately seven minutes and is open until midnight Monday 8 January 2024.
