The Heeley-based AV and live event company was selected to provide technical support for the 16th annual Inspiring Women Awards in Manchester. The prestigious sell-out lunch, attended by more than 350 guests, highlighted the achievements of special women from the public sector, arts, business and community who were nominated by the public for going the extra mile.
tdc director Eamonn Hunt presented the Arts awards to Claire Moore who set up the successful Certain Curtain Theatre in Preston nearly 20 years ago.
Hunt said: "We were delighted to be involved with the Inspiring Women Awards for the first time. There are so many truly inspirational women in the region, many of whom go unrecognised yet become role models for others so it was wonderful to be able to bring to life the stories behind such heroines."
Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy, founder and award organiser, and joint managing director of Inspiring Connections, said: "I've been involved with this event for the past 16 years and I'm amazed at how it just seems to get better each time. It was great to work with tdc and the company's creative input and highly experienced project team contributed to another hugely successful event."
The 2008 Awards were held on 16 May at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and compered by BBC Radio Manchester's Trevor Hunt from, with the Awards presented by Danny Wallace, author, journalist and TV and radio presenter.
