New features include pixel plotting - an innovative method of programming large LED arrays, Autopilot (automatic show generator), new improved global fixture addressing, multi-layering of effects, pixel-array fixture types, global and zoned proportional rate and level controls, scrolling marquee text-generator, setup wizards, macro generators and video to DMX features, as well as comprehensive controls for intelligent and conventional lighting control.
Artist systems are principally installed in nightclubs, lately controlling the US award-winning Best Nightclub Installation 2007 for Jet at the Mirage, Las Vegas amongst many other installations. Artist systems have also been employed at many diverse non-club sites; recently to control exterior and interior lighting at The Edinburgh International Conference Centre. An Artist system is currently being commissioned to control 12,000 channels of Pulsar LED lighting fixtures on the exterior of buildings at the Bahrain Financial Harbour and this installation will feature in the PLASA presentation of the two companies.
