The Netherlands - Next Venue recently completed an impressive lighting installation in the entrance hall of the Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld, welcoming every visitor with an ambience perfectly suited to the ongoing event.
While the venue is currently hosting the acclaimed 40-45 musical, which attracts large numbers of visitors every weekend, the setup is a permanent enhancement to its multifunctional spaces, ensuring a seamless blend of ambience and functionality.
The venue's entrance greenhouse, formerly part of Floriade 2022, is now a 6,000 m² foyer with a blend of natural light, elegant fixtures, and energy-efficient solutions. The installation includes 100 Infinity Raccoon Junior P7/4 fixtures, each fitted with a 40° filter, strategically mounted in the trusswork of the glass atrium. These high-performance fixtures provide exceptional illumination, transforming the lobby into a warm and welcoming space for visitors.
The control systems are equally sophisticated. For Foyer 2, lighting is managed with a Showtec TR-512 Pocket DMX controller, complemented by a Showtec Wall Panel Remote for TR-512 Install/Pocket installed in a convenient location. Similarly, Foyer 1 and the restaurant are also equipped with two Showtec TR-512 Pocket DMX controllers, paired with Wall Panel Remotes for user-friendly operation.
To ensure a robust setup, Showtec DIN-rail DMX boosters have been installed in the cable trays, while a Showtec DMX Merger in Foyer 1 ensures smooth data handling. The installation also features premium cabling from DAP, ensuring reliable and durable performance.
This installation was expertly handled by Next Venue’s in-house AV team.
