"After a successful event last year, we are excited to welcome the Shure MEA team back in 2016," says Andrew Sorrill who is sales and marketing manager for Shure distributors Wild & Marr. "Shure have a number of new products that we would like to introduce to the market and highlight how flexible they are for AV conferencing and system integration. The event will also cater for musicians and the professional audio markets."
The first workshop, Audio Networking Mastered and Wireless Audio Mastered for Installed Applications, is suitable for sound engineers, production professionals, system integrators and IT professionals involved with AV conferencing. This one-day workshop will be held on Monday 30 May 2016.
The second workshop is for professional audio engineers, production professionals and musicians. Attendees will learn the history behind modern microphones as well as the fundamental science behind them and how to apply best-practice across a wide range of applications. This will be held on Tuesday 31 May 2016.
A Wireless Workbench masterclass takes place on Wednesday 1 June 2016. The one-day workshop is suited for the broadcast, rental and other professional audio markets. It offers training to demystify the world of wireless by providing attendees the knowledge and confidence to operate reliable, secure wireless microphone systems in today's challenging RF environment using Wireless Workbench software.
A highlight of the event will be the Microflex Advance (MXA) certified training that will be split into two days. The MXA sales certification will take place on Thursday 2 June, while the MXA technical application certification will be held on Friday 3 June 2016.
