Additionally, DIS's DDS 5900 and DIS DCS 6000 discussion and conferencing systems will be on show, together with the newly introduced DIS CP 7890 camera control system, which can be used in conjunction with a DDS 5900 or DCS 6000 system to remotely control up to four networked cameras. The control app for the CP7890 system, which is compatible with Apple iOS devices and now also Android, will also be shown during ISE.
Shure will also be presenting its product-related software solutions emphasising functionality and ease of use. Visitors can explore how to configure, coordinate, control and monitor Shure systems with Wireless Workbench 6, ShurePlus Channels, Shure Web Device Discovery, Shure Update Utility, MXW Webserver, SCM820 Webserver and DCS 6000 Webserver.
Away from Shure's stand, three free-to-attend Shure-related presentations will also take place during ISE. The first two concern recent installations involving Shure technology and will be held in the Commercial Solutions Theatre (Stand M370, Hall 8) during the show:
On 10 February at 16:00, Thomas Kraupe, director of the Hamburg Planetarium, will examine creative possibilities afforded by Atmosphea - a 3D sound system co-developed by Shure and the Fraunhofer Institute and recently installed at the Hamburg Planetarium.
On 12 February at midday, Clemens Sturm, commercial market manager at Shure Distribution GmbH, will present a case study on the recent installation of a DIS DCS 6000 conferencing and interpretation system at the parliament of ECOWAS (the Economic Community of 15 Western African Countries) in Abuja, Nigeria.
Later on 12 February, for two hours from 14:30, a condensed version of the Shure Academy European Audio Network's renowned day-long Wireless Mastered seminars will be held in Room D304 in the Elicium in Hall 12. Aimed at all event production staff, and anyone that regularly uses wireless technology, the session covers all aspects of RF technology and wireless microphone operation.
