The Retford based company had a giant two metre square snakes and ladders board on the back wall of their stand. Visitors were invited to test their knowledge of the LOLER regulations as they progressed up the board. Completion of the game with all questions correctly answered wonthe player one of a number of prizes from new rigging gloves to head torches, Frogs, to Rope Assemblies unique rigging multi-tool.
Having counted the number of prizes given out at the end of the show, a knowledgeable 200 people had played and won.
"We were delighted to win this award, it was quite a surprise when our name was called out at the ABTT Dinner. Many thanks to the judges and all of the visitors - and other exhibitors - who came on the stand to play and learn more about LOLER." Said Siobhan Hitchen, managing director.
"We wanted our stand to have an educational theme which was fun and engaging rather than the typical sales message. Our products were on display should anyone want more information, but it was more important to engage with the visitors and snakes and ladders worked for us." She added.
The Frog, 2005 winner of the Widget of the Year, was on display and interest in the innovative device was as keen as ever, says the company. They are excellent value when compared with typical screw gate carabiners and are easier to operate single handedly, says the company.
Rope Assemblies will have a stand at the Exhibiting Show.
