According to Dosviente CEO Jose Maria Mendez, who has a long-standing relationship with Sonorde, the company had been considering the purchase of a digital console for a while, and were delighted when Dosviente took over distribution of InnovaSon. "It was perfect timing for all concerned," noted Mendez. "I knew that Sonorde were looking for something, and now I had the ideal product to show them!"
"Sonorde is a company that prides itself on the quality of both their equipment and service, and they specialise in high-end, high quality work," continued Mendez. "Much of what they do is for government agencies and large corporate clients in addition to servicing all of the major Spanish and international artists who pass through their region. As a result they are extremely particular about the equipment they invest in for rental stock. It has to be of the highest quality. When I showed them what the Sy48 was capable of, they were bowled over!"
Sonorde's Antonio "To?o" Perez agrees: "We were really impressed by the sound quality of the console, as well as its complete configurability. Essentially we can set the desk up as we please, so it can cater for just about any type of event. This sort of flexibility and extraordinary sound quality in such a tiny footprint is perfect for us and the work we do. Furthermore, the FX package gives us everything we need in terms of internal effects and onboard processing, so we don't need to worry about additional outboard gear. It's an extremely worthwhile investment for us."
