Sound Technology offers a free one-day training course on Soundcraft's Vi Series consoles. This runs monthly and is open to engineers, venues, hire, installation and production companies.
The sessions are designed to adapt to the requirements of the participants and includes hardware components and connections, Vistonics interface and console operation; configuration of the console for FOH and monitor applications; diagnostics and fault finding; shows and snapshots; Soundcraft Realtime Rack; ViSi Connect iPad app, offline editor and integration with other audio equipment.
The dates for the first half of 2017 are: 25 January 2017 (Adlib, Liverpool), 22 March 2017 (Sound Technology, Letchworth Garden City), 17 May 2017 (Sound Technology) and 19 July 2017 (Sound Technology).
Audio Architect is the software application used to configure, control, and monitor hardware devices from several Harman brands, including AKG, BSS, Crown, dbx, and JBL. While BSS and Crown devices are primarily used during class as a basis for examples, this course covers Audio Architect concepts common to products from all Harman brands within Audio Architect.
The two-day course encompasses three modules, AA100 HiQnet Audio Architect Introductory and BSS Audio Soundweb London 101 and 201. Attendees successfully completing all three modules the course earn 15 InfoComm CTS credits.
The course dates for the first half of 2017 are 8-9 February, 12-13 April and 14-15 June.
