The fit up of over 16 tonnes of lighting equipment required for the West End production of The Sound of Music is now under way. Stage Electrics is supplying the entire performance lighting system to the show which opens at the London Palladium Theatre in mid November.
Stage Electrics is also supplying the lighting equipment for the new national tour of Me & My Girl starring Faye Tozer (ex Steps) and Sylvester McCoy which opened in early September at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth.
The Birmingham Stage Company's national tour of Danny the Champion of the World is also being supplied by Stage Electrics. The company is providing all lighting and sound equipment to this tour which is forecast to be on the road for two years. This is the fifth consecutive production Stage Electrics has supported, having recently supplied lighting equipment for the company's Kensuke's Kingdom which tours until Christmas and then plays at London's Bloomsbury Theatre for eight weeks.
The five week run of Amadeus is now well under way at Wilton's Music Hall in London with Stage Electrics supplying all lighting, sound and rigging equipment. The show, which opened to critical acclaim, stars Matthew Kelly.
