UK - Stageco and Tait Technologies celebrated their new European strategic alliance at the launch of their joint London office on May 20th 2011. Directors and staff were joined by guests from event production fraternities across the UK and Europe.

In the new office located minutes away from St Pancras London, Stageco and Tait Technologies combine over 50 years of experience supplying the events industry. The appointed UK representatives in the new premises are Stageco's international project manager, Dirk de Decker and Tait Technologies UK manager, Fanny Verschraege, who worked for global technology company Barco for seven years. Both companies are recruiting new staff to expand their UK based team.

Dirk de Decker comments, "The main benefit of this office is that we are committing ourselves to be more easily available to come and meet UK music and event industry professionals, with all major UK cities just hours away. Our international experience and expertise can widen possibilities for designers. This is the entertainment industry and we're committed to helping people do something new and exciting with their shows or events, and being based in London makes us a far more time effective option to conceive and plan new ideas alongside our creative clients.

"Both companies are committed to continue delivering the highest standard of event staging and video scenic solutions. Having worked in the UK for many years, this investment in the office and meeting facilities signals our positive intent to continue to expand our offering to UK production professionals."

Fanny Verschraege adds, "The synergy between our two companies means we complement each other's services, there is a lot of common ground when it comes to the spirit of both teams. Whilst we will continue to work independently I'm sure that being based in the same office will mean there are some projects we will be obvious partners to work together on. The office will offer production meeting facilities, available for industry colleagues to use with minimal disruption in between European travel. This will also open opportunities for us to interact with people within the same industry."

Building on decades of working independently alongside each other across an array of touring projects, discussions developed between the companies' owners Michael Tait (Tait Technologies) and Hedwig de Meyer (Stageco) with a view to closer co-operation. This has led to a strategic alliance that see's the US based Tait Tower scenic motion products become available through Stageco's existing network of staging offices. Stageco employees have been trained with in depth knowledge of Tait Technologies equipment, ensuring the professional support and technological engineering for clients implemented across all projects they collaborate on.

Frederic Opsomers, co founder of Tait Technologies states, "We've already received very positive feedback that this Stageco / Tait Technologies new business venture will improve accessibility to products and services. When both companies introduce new global solutions and technology for creative event producers across the continent there will be local stock with trained local event staff to support them. This European strategic alliance builds upon a common 'can do' spirit across the two companies with equally excellent reputations for delivering high quality event engineering with attention to detail, creativity and logistical excellence.

The companies will occupy a joint exhibition stand at London's PLASA exhibition this September, with key staff available to discuss engineering solutions to bring people's creative ideas for future events to life."
