Money raised at the events will help raise awareness of The Trussell Trust Food Bank, a community-based project which provides emergency food to people in short term crisis. Food given to The Food Bank by local people is distributed through Emergency Food Boxes and through the Food Bank Centre. The Centre also provides life skills training including cooking on a budget.
Stagecraft wholly produced both shows, including ticket sales, promotion, refreshments and bar, as well as supplying and installing the lighting, staging and sound equipment. A capacity audience of 150 people were treated to a candlelit evening of live music, song and comedy in the spirit of Noel Coward whilst enjoying a glass of wine and refreshments. A number of companies supported the events, or donated raffle prizes, including Allied Domecq, Woolley & Wallis, Light Commercial Spays, Twinings, Chas H. Baker and local branches of Waitrose and Tesco.
